2022
The launching of the first edition of the National Contest for the Best Engineering Theses was held today at INVAP’s headquarters, with the aim of rewarding talent and knowledge generation in favor of the country’s development.
With the presence of INVAP’s General Manager, Dr. Vicente Campenni, and the Director and member of the company’s Technological Liaison team, Dr. Verónica Garea, the federal contest began with the purpose of recognizing Argentine talent in innovative research and projects that, by means of engineering practice, have real applications in strategic areas for the development of the country and seek to build a better future for Argentines.
The call for proposals, whose terms and conditions will be available in March 2023, is open to students of nuclear, mechanical, electronic, telecommunications, electromechanical, materials, chemical, aerospace, mechatronics, aeronautical, industrial and computer engineering from all over the country. All undergraduate, graduate, master’s or doctoral engineering theses submitted during the 2022 calendar year, from both public and private institutions, are eligible to participate.
To participate, theses must be approved by the educational institution to which the students belong, and must be submitted by the Engineering University, Institute or Department, or by the Thesis Directors.
Applications submitted by professional, technical and scientific associations, and by the Federal Council of Engineering Deans (CONFEDI, in Spanish) will also be accepted.
This initiative is introduced in the context of the company’s 46th anniversary, and reinforces the commitment that has marked INVAP’s identity since its inception, always relying on Argentinians’ talent and knowledge to transform society, innovate and conquer the world with Argentine intelligence.
