On September 27, during the Regular and Extraordinary General Meeting of INVAP, at the request of the Board of Directors and with the endorsement of the Governor of the Province of Río Negro, Mr. Alberto Weretilneck, Lic. Hugo Albani was distinguished as President Emeritus in recognition of his outstanding career of more than 45 years in the company.
The Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Vicente Campenni, the General Manager, Engineer Darío Giussi, as well as other members of the General Management, directors and trustees were present.
Lic. Albani has been linked to the company since its beginnings as a member of the founding group and with relevant performance in innovative technological projects. He has been a member of INVAP’s Board of Directors since 1987 and its President from 2020 to 2024.
His strategic vision was a fundamental feature for the development and growth of the company, as well as his contribution to projects that have marked milestones in Argentina’s technological history.
His permanent interest in INVAP’s issues and his unconditional commitment, prioritizing the future of the company, were always examples for those who had the privilege of working with him. During the ceremony, his unwavering commitment to the company’s ideals and his character as a great colleague, much loved and respected by all his colleagues, were highlighted.
With this appointment as President Emeritus, INVAP recognizes not only the vast career of Hugo Albani, but also his humanistic leadership and tireless dedication, qualities that will continue to inspire future generations of INVAP professionals.
